Well, that was a big check off the bucket list! Last night we were able to watch an All Blacks rugby game! In true fashion, the game was outdoors and it was raining. We drank lots of beer to keep warm. The game was super exciting, with the All Blacks embarassing France, the final score was 30-0 for NZ. Good times were had by all! (The French even seemed to enjoy themselves despite the loss.)

We have been spending the week in Christchurch, visiting with Kim and Grant. Kim and I have been going to hot yoga every day- trying to repair my body after the tramping blitz. We had dinner Friday night at Grant's parents house, it was wonderful. Other than that we have just been exploring the city, drinking coffee and visiting our favorite bars one last time. Also cooking delicious venison dinners- lasagna and chili. Leaving for Blenheim Tuesday morning and to the North Island wednesday. 4 weeks left.
