Still raining today. We are hoping as we turn inland to Dawson City the weather will improve. No pictures this morning with the iPhone. Sorry.

We started off riding in the rain but it eased off after about an hour. We are excited as we are beginning to spot black bear and keep watching for moose as well.
We are riding along rivers again today but the mountains on either side are taller and covered with snow. As the rain starts for earnest about noon it appears to be snowing in the mountains, most of which are now cloud covered.
Our riding gear is keeping us fairly dry but Travis needed to stop and change our his gloves mid afternoon.
As the afternoon progressed our riding gear is beginning to let us down. Can't keep "waterproof" gloves dry and our hands are very cold. Our boots feel like they are full of water as well.
Late afternoon we reach our gas stop (the only one for miles in both directions). Bell 2 is a heli ski resort and have accommodation so we decided to get a room for the night. We are able to get ourselves warm and maybe dry out our gear.
There is not phone or wifi service here so family and friends will need to rely on out SPOT end of day message that all is in fact OK

We road 440 miles to reach Burns Lake BC. Mostly overcast with some rain . It is getting prettier each mile. Most of the time we are following wide racing rivers with mountains on each side. We continue to see road signs to watch out for moose but haven't spotted one yet, maybe tomorrow.
As we approached Burns lake the ski was beginning to look very dark so decided to find a camp grounds and call it a day. The rain stated hard about then and we were forced to set up camp on the rain. Needless to say everything got soaking wet. We were able to keep our sleeping bags semi dry and we crawled in for a cold rainy night.
It rained all night but let up enough to take down our camp but everything was stowed away wet.
Our plan for the day is to get as close to Lease Lake as weather and energy will allow. So off to find some coffee.

Sorry for not post earlier but too much to see and do. Spent last night at a nice camp ground by a lake to Oroville Washington. Just south of the Canadian border. A beautiful area covered with fruit orchards as far as the eyes can see.

This morning I crossed the border then headed west alone Hwy 3 ( Crows Nest Highway). This was basically 2 zones. Both following big, wide fast moving rivers. First part continued the orchards and many many winery's . Once I got to Princeton BC it became very mountainous with loads of twists and turns, I was in heaven. As I reached the summit there was a ski area and snow was falling not far above me. Temp were pretty cool by then and I was wishing I had my cold weather liners in, but was able to finish the trip down into Hope without stopping to do so.

From here on I will only be able to post when I find Internet. I do promise to get more pictures but believe me it is very beautiful.
