Moved on to the next beach south of Bottle at Thong Naipan. It's a much larger 'resorty' style of place, more facilities and sophisticated....and we have have a pool - not that we need it as the swimming here is the best so far. Last night we had cocktails from an absolutely beautiful bar on the beach where they had carved seats in the sand. The lighting and setting was more than perfect. This was followed by a lovely meal of freshly grilled barracuda from the BBQ. Doesn't get much better than this!

The beach at Bottle Beach was even more lovely than at Than Sadat - longer and with better swimming conditions. The vibe wasn't so good there but we managed to find a cool restaurant there to hang out at where there was plenty of shade and was very peaceful

Today was tour day. We got up just after 8.30. Packed what we needed for the day and went for breakfast. We ordered food at 9 and the pick up was at 9.10. We had to eat super quick. Then we got picked up and the first stop of the day was the zip line. Pretty fun. But not scary. Then we continued to the Wipeout water activity. It was fun, a bit like wipeout on TV. After that we had lunch and went for a short elephant trekk. Then we headed up to a waterfall which was not that great, though the water was nice and cool. And we finished the tour with snorkeling at some shallow reefs up north. Then we went back to our resort and relaxed by the pool. After we got a beer each and got ourselves ready to go out and eat. We went to a beach resort close by and had a nice but expensive dinner by the beach before heading back home to sleep. Tomorrow we will try to get to Koh Tao if possible.

Woke up at 11. Which was hard because we fell asleep after 6 this morning. We had to check out (what a rookie mistake). But after getting ourselves a hamburger with egg and bacon, or it was a hamburger without the actual burger in it, we got a lift to the taxi station. From there, a taxi up to Tanouy Garden Resort. Two nights here. Checked in, walked down to the beach which was not that nice. We walked along it for a bit before we settled down and stayed almost till sunset. Then we headed back for a beer and shower. Cause we didn't know exactly where we were, we thought we just start to walk and try to find a restaurant. But we got picked up by a taxi and went in to the bigger village. There we booked a day tour for tomorrow and we had some food at Santorini. Carbonara for me and Squid for Chiara. Then we got a taxi back home and fell asleep pretty fast.

## 17 Dec
Got up, wrote advertisements for our bikes and got them printed out. Went to a place that buys bikes and got offers of $130. To get there we rode over a massive bridge. Then we went and got our bikes cleaned and serviced. Came back and started posting our flyers. Went to about 10 places. Saw the local area at the same time. There's a nice lake. Went out.

## 18 Dec
Tims birthday!! Started drinking early with mates. Went to bars.

## 19 Dec
Woke up chilled, played pool upstairs. Watched movies. Mulled around. Was like this the next few days as we had to wait around for someone to buy the bikes.

## 20 Dec
Started getting better and better at pool. End of the world party.

## 21 Dec
Decide to go to the hcm museum and his coffin thing. Get there, the museum is closed... I buy a remote control car. And I drive it around like a little kid, driving it around peoples feet and stuff. Some people smile, others don't look too happy. I let some old guy have a play, has probably never driven one. There's heaps of security guards around as well. Go to hcm grave. But that's closed too. We then drive the remote control car across a busy road. Almost got hit 3 times, but made it. Then try to find the b52 bomber, which is apparently in a lake. We find a lake and spend hours walking around it. We have lunch. See people fishing. A few guys throwing rocks at a guy in a boat, not sure what that was about. Saw an old abandoned water park. Never found the bomber, got a taxi home. Meet some Aussie guys interested in our bikes. Give them a test ride. My bike has a flat tyre so i go and get that fixed.

## 22 Dec
The Aussie guys decide to get thier bikes from a proper shop. Meet up with an Israeli couple who are interested in a bike. We convince them to buy it eventually. Manage to convince a finnish guy from our backpackers to buy the other. $200 each, they got good deals, but we were also lucky to sell them the day before we left. Sat down with them and gave them as much advice as possible. Chill. Bkk tomorrow.
