Some of us could not swim and were a little nervous....
Today we had a 1/2 day off to go on a boat trip down the River Gambia. One boat had a boy on it who was using a bucket to take out the water they were taking on. Just as our boat started to make fun of them, our motor stopped working! We tied the boats together and made it back.
Working on painting, murals and plastering the nursery school.
From what I can gather this thing must be used for a suit coat and trousers..... The middle thing to put your monocle in? .... or cuff links?
Ahhh.... The LUSH Spa, where I got their signature Synesthesia massage. It is like magic. First you choose a word. My word/s was uninhibited and free. Your treatment centers around that word, using all your senses. It starts out with a room filled with dry ice. (like a haunted house.) Only here the essential oils are carried by the smoke throughout the room. There is also colored lighting. The massage is choreographed to music and hot and cold stones are used. They make a massage oil for you based on your word choice and you get to take it and a bubble bath home with you. Omg please LUSH Spa, come to the U.S.
Can't even explain to someone who has not been here. It is extravagant, maybe ridiculously so. Ate the best scone here of my life. Bought rose petal jam (only thing I could afford) tried Creme De La Mer (it was surprisingly nice) £180. Everyone should go here. I'm going from one extreme to the other. Today Harrods, tomorrow a village in West Africa.
Me: "Hey you look typically British! Can I get a picture with you?"
Guy: "That's because I am. You may"
Guards not changing
