Today is the annual Fete de la Musique all over France. There is free music everywhere. Hmmm...maybe I'll tale a look at that Gibson melody maker a la Joan Jett at Paris's guitar center Musikia...wonder how much shipping is to the US??
I spent 4 hours in a mostly empty museum today. It's part of the louvre, but without the crowds. It was the best museum yet full of decorative arts (pottery, glass, fashion and jewelry) from the middle ages to present with a huge collection of art nouveau and art deco. The jewelry exhibit brought tears to my eyes!
Early LV trunks...many had old travel stickers on them along with their owners names and dates of travel...fascinating!
