Adventures in Kensington !
So finally I meet up with the Bride & Groom and the lovely Gemma :)
After walking around searching for Loretta's famous past haunts an watering holes (all of which where boards up!!) we stumbled upon the Devonshire Arms, and their independence day celebrations !!

8:20pm and it's still daylight. Kids play in the park, babies in prams with dogs in tow.

Although sleep deprived waking up at strange hours (even taking the time difference into consideration) and the twilight (until 10 ish!!) playing with my sense of "time" I'm so very very calm :-)
In typical British fashion, the weatherman on the TV this morning declared it to be "damp and dull changing to murky and misty during the day". In other words, it will be grey and wet.
Despite the forecast I caught the tube into Marble Arch, to do a spot of shopping and people watching. Ok - so there was more shopping ;-)
Met Sir Bazikins on his lunch break, now back at hotel when surprise surprise - out comes the sun and up goes the temperature !!
