I spent 4 hours in a mostly empty museum today. It's part of the louvre, but without the crowds. It was the best museum yet full of decorative arts (pottery, glass, fashion and jewelry) from the middle ages to present with a huge collection of art nouveau and art deco. The jewelry exhibit brought tears to my eyes!

The family just left and I'm sad...but happy to spend a few more days in the City of Light. I have plans to see a ballet at the Opera Garnier, so it's all good! But no more wine, molten chocolate cake or pâté!!
