Age

The announcer guy.
Here's the stopwatch. It's a two mile swim the contestants have to complete. We are currently over an hour.
Running to the finish line.
People are checking their finish times at this board.
Medals are handed out to top three fastest times For different age groups and genders.
Announcing winners just as the last swimmer finishes the race.
She got a medal.
This man won a first place medal!
Another medal. Tons of medals are being handed out. I was hoping I would get one even though I didn't compete in the event.

There was a 10 year old that competed and so he won a medal for being the youngest contestant.

It's pretty calm on this side...
...but there's a ton of people for the Dwight Crum Pier-to-Piet Swim. Contests swim from the Hermosa pier to the Manhattan Beach pier. It's insane.

Tons of people walking down the beach to get to the swimming competition.
Back at Manhattan Beach for the sand castle contest. There's not a ton of people competing, but I think it's because you had sign up at a pretty early time.

I guess this being the last day of the festival people are really coming out in droves. Volleyball games are about to start soon too.
