We just loaded onto the ferry heading up to Kodiak Island. It's very tight in the hold. The cars come down on an elevator and are then turned 90 degrees on a turnstile, then backed into the hold. It's a slow process.

This was our camp spot last night. We're on our way to Homer today. We'll be taking the redeye ferry to Kodiak tonight. We'll be on Kodiak Island tomorrow morning. We're told we might see some bears there. 8-)
