After some adventures with Ukrainian buses, got in the plane to tel Aviv. We decided we didn't feel like staying in a big city and took the train to Haifa, in the north. Pretty nice city, next to the beach.
Some nice discoveries:
- the Ukrainian bus payment system is amazing.
- birkenstocks do not live forever, nor do 5 euro vans copies.
- Israel is heavily secured: soldiers are everyone, everyone wants to look in your back and
- backpacks are heavy and hot
- it's pretty impossible to get to the sea, but when you manage, it's nice and warm, even at night
- Israelis are friendly and want to tell you everything, which is quite impossible when they only speak Hebrew
- it feels rather uncomfortable when a soldier with a huge gun stands next to you.
