R, D, E & C off to S Juan etcfor evening trip to beach. Scortcher today - 35+. Coastline gorgeous. Rugged, moorish ruins. Aqua water out for miles.

On 6 July Marline & Isobel got up after v little sleep - covered in mosquito bites on their legs. The poor gin grannies... Emergency trip to Centro Medico in Vera. They looked horrified n referred them to hospital or return in 3 hours for out of hours service. Called in at pharmacy - chemist, all staff & customers horrified. The Mosquitos had a great feed n stocked up on the tasty grannies for a good while. Returned to Centro medico @3pm - we no Spanish to explain situ & they no English. Also grannies no E111 cards!!!! Caggy's dodgy French with the A&E French worked tho - antihistamine no use; gel no use; hydrocortisone no use; sent back to pharmacy for calamine lotion. had their legs calm almost immediately!
