Ok, so wasn't really looking forward to spending 14 hours on a train, especially in hard seat class, but as it turns out it was pretty cool. The guy and his wife next to me spoke a little English, and I was clearly something of a novelty as people kept coming over and staring at me! Everyone was super friendly though, and the girls there even gave me a Chinese name; Sun Shuai, which apparently means handsome lol....not sure who they were looking at ;p When we reached Xian I even hot asked if I could pose for a photo with them!
