A tale from the road: we had a rental car overnight and we had already arrived in our destination (Jackson Hole). Being the cost-cutters that we are, we figured we'd "camp out" in the car rather than get a hotel. So, we found a secluded spot, parked, unloaded our bikes, and stretched out as much as we could. We were pleased at not having to set up the tent nor pay for another hotel.

The situation went south from there. WY is freezing at night! We were both cold, especially Neil, who was wearing many hilarious layers. We were both very uncomfortable - I think you have to be under the age of 10 for sleeping in cars to be a good idea, or at least the car has to be moving, but two adults attempting to lay down in a compact car is a joke.

Then, Neil kicked me in the face. Hard. While I was actually asleep-ish. He full on kicked me in the forehead. He was attempting to relocate from the passenger seat to the folded-down rear seat/trunk area, and it was dark, and he realized it was the perfect alibi to say that he could not see my head. So he went for it.
