Appologies for slacking with the blogging, but been distracted by doing absolutely nothing. It's tricky to blog about not moving for 2 days solidly. ;) Well day 9 & 10 were just about carbon copies with us just wandering down to the beach and lazing there all day. The second Hunger Games book has been started and finished so it's time for the third (I liked it by the way, even though it's just a filler/scene setter for the 3rd). Been minutely more active today as we finally managed breakfast outside of or room before heading out on a trip to the local volcano and waterfall with a tour around the hotel's farm. The volcano was an impressive place, but the bit we saw was far too small unfortunately. That part of the tour was over before it began really. The waterfall was ok and had some mineral baths you could go in, but was far too touristy. The best bit of that was a big botanical garden leading up to the waterfall which had so many brightly coloured and unusual plants in. The tour around the farm was really interesting as we were walked around and shown all the herbs, spices, fruit and vegetables they grow (which makes a lot of our food) and the cocoa trees that make all our choccie treats.
Gone back to lazing in the room since then as it was a tough couple of hours being driven about. Tuckered us right out. ;)
Booked a private dinner on the celestial terrace (the top bit) tonight so hoping to catch the sun set. Fingers crossed the clouds don't get too thick.
