Nope, that's Daniel Crack.
One of the reasons we come back to Phuket. Now that we found out the level of contamination in the waters around the beaches, Rock City may well end up as the only reason next time.
Maybe many centuries into the future, archeologists would dig these jars up and get their mind blown. Maybe not...
As a monkey, it is very important to look good and feel good to start the day of monkeying around on the right note. At AoNoi Simian Spa ("A.S.S"), our team of professionals are dedicated to grooming and making sure that you look sharp as a tack. This month, we are offering our balls cleaning service at 50% off. Try it and feel like a million bucks.
Our bike had a new look as we changed the mirrors to lower ones in Chiang Mai (that was the only ones they had). It was slightly harder to see due to the height but it makes the bike look sharper. Hao also had a new look. Similar to the bike, there was a decrease in height and an increase in sharpness (hopefully).
Near Bangkok, there is this crazy market just by the railway where the vendors set up store inches away from the track WHICH IS ACTIVE! How does this work? Basically, the train only serves 2 stations and comes in only 3 times a day. So every time the train comes in, the vendors will shift out of the way when they hear the train a-coming and some even waiting until the last possible minute. Some vendors store their wares in movable baskets and some vendors used tables with mini tracks of their own for easy moving. Together with movable poles holding up the awnings and shades, this operation was a damn smooth one and it was amazing to see it being pulled off like a well-oiled machine.
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Yeo on the arrival of the new addition to the family. We look forward to seeing the "beast" and the "creature" soon!
The batcave of vintage furniture apparently was quite a popular place for couples to do their pre-wedding shoots. It looks quite fun posing with all the vintage furniture. They even have a full studio decked out in their best pieces on the highest floor.
On our travels, we are always looking for ideas for our place back home and we stumbled on this gem in Bangkok. This warehouse of old furniture was opened by a Singaporean and sold and reproduced vintage furniture. While we did not commit to any pieces, we had loads of fun exploring every corner and would definitely keep in mind this place.
Bangkok traffic is a bitch! We spent almost 2 hours getting into Bangkok city as we made the unfortunate choice of coming in during the rush hour.
We popped by the ancient capital of Ayutthaya en route to Bangkok. After seeing the ruins in Hampi, all these ruins were quite tame but it was good to see them well taken care of.
We saw this strange moustachioed looking fruit being sold on the streets and decided to try some. It is like some kind of nut.
The petrified trees of Tak. It is interesting to note that fossils are found so close to home yet many of us do not know.
We went to this petrified tree park in Tak back in 2005 and took a picture in the same-ish pose and decided to replicate it. Dash could not stop laughing. She is not very serious about taking photos.
