Ryan Nichols and I hopped on the bikes Saturday morning and rode up to Glendora to start probably the nicest ride I've done so far. We rode up Glendora Ridge Road to Baldy Village, had lunch, and then rode up to the Baldy lifts. From there, we rode down to Claremont and then home.

A quick four hour drive from where we live made it an easy decision to finally pop up and see the Native American Museum in Washington DC. Although it was chilly, it was a beautiful sunny day and not too crowded. Opened around 2003, it does a phenomenal job not only featuring North American tribes but also Central and South American tribes.

It was an absolutely picture perfect day. The main reason I went was to see the Japanese Garden, which was recently completed at a cost of $6.8M. It was well worth it.
