This was my first cross-country motorcycle adventure. I rode a big loop through the Southwest visiting Lake Havasu, Grand Canyon, Santa Fe, and Taos on my trip to Austin. Temperatures ranged from 18 degrees (Grand Canyon) to the 50's so I got to use all of my cold weather gear, including my heated liner.

We booked a tour with a local company to take us on motorcycles to have adventures in the hills. We spent the night in a Karen village sleeping on mats in their rice storage room. A good deal of the biking was off road and very rugged. We rode elephants, rated on bamboo, and saw lots of other stuff.

Visiting the recently opened gorgeous, friendly Myanmar, a union of various Burmese ethnic states. I did not see a single soldier on the streets, military compounds, or even police. The locals seemed content, well fed, well dressed in interesting local attire, and the roads and airports were better than NSW!

My friend and me spent 5 days in Menorca Island. We have gone to many beaches (a beach in the morning and another at the afternoon), and I couldn't choose just one... every single beach was just beautiful!
