Decided to do the Hue to Hoi An leg by motorbike. Took 8 hrs altogether, but the views and scenery along the way are stunning, and the roads are amazing fun to drive, especially over Hai Van pass which winds up through to mountains upto almost 2000 metres above sea level. Stopped off at the mountain springs along the way for much needed swim too :). All in all a pretty great way to spend a day travelling!
Tombs of Vietnamese Emperor and his empress. Amazing place, it's like walking onto the set of a Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider film.
Took bikes and headed out into the countryside around Yangshuo. Ended up doing over 35km and was knackered by the end, but definitely worth it!
