God opened up an amazing opportunity for me this year and I am soo thankful for friends and family that I got to see.. And Missed the family I didn't get to see. Next time though I will for sure be exploring Southern Italy rather than Northern ; ) And I think Australia is on my list as well as New Zealand, Croatia, Poland, Russia, and other parts of Germany. Some day when I have moneys lol

Wow where to even begin.. I have put this off a little too long.. my apologies. I had a dead phone, not internet, and sooo much to do and see for the last week or so of the journey. I'm not sure where we left off, but I'll just let you know about Praha-Amsterdam. So WOW.... Praha... I want to live there some day. Such an amazing city with rich beauty and culture and so many nice people!! Loved it. Then onto Brugge. Oh my. Gosh. That city was sooo cute! I can not get over it. The people outside of our hostel were super friendly. Our hostel was a litttle sketchy, but still an amazing experience. I loved just walking around and not seeing any graffiti anywhere. Such a brilliant change of scenery from Praha and Munich. We took a day trip to Brussels which was pretty nice. That city is very busy, but I liked it all the same. I am glad we stayed in Brugge though : ) I had one day that I ate a waffel and everyone I was with that day can attest that I went into a sugar coma right after eating it. It was more than worth it. So then we moved onto the wonderful and magical land of Amsterdam. Holy tired. That place is up and goin all night. The Red Light District is wildddd.. Our hostel was the main hang out coffee shop which was really cool. It did break my heart to see the girls in the windows just tapping for you to come over. Not my cup o tea. But the actual city was a BLAST!! We did a canal tour and got on a paddle boat and might have been turned around for a while, but it was a blast!! The canals are awesome and the people are from soo many different walks of life all there for pretty much the same purpose (pretty funny). Met some really interesting folks in all of the different hostels.. One boy Jason celebrated his 21st bday last night/today in Amsterdam allll the way from Louisiana. BY HIMSELF... whatta guy. lol I'm going to go ahead and finish up.. pictures are coming.. Just such an amazingly wonderful journey. Couldn't be happier, but sooo sad to say good bye : (

Today was a magical day. Finally got to enjoy sleep.. Woke up late and rolled out and downstairs to try to get some internet and the downstairs was leaking like crazzyy.. So we went and woke everyone up and went to grab a bite to eat at this amazing german restaurant across the street from our hostel. After we went to see the city and ended up getting asked by a wonderful Australian lady if we wanted to do a bike tour around Munich. It was AMAZING!!! it started raining sooo hard then it started hailing soooo hard so we took shelter and watched the craziest storm our tour guide had ever seen. Lol then the weather cleared up for us!! It was great.. Learned soo much!! Then we came back and played some card games and such.. Now we're enjoying the night and chillin.. Early start in the morning. Bye bye byeee

Pompei Ruins

Well we woke up this morning and cleaned our appartment and headed on a train for Pompei... Things were goin great, but then we get off at the stop just before the stop we were supposed to get off at.. So we chilled in the ghetto for about 45 minutes and waited for the next train to Pompei... Finally made it and saw all the ruins which was pretty rad.. Amazing view of Mt. Vesuvious and the city around it as well.. Then got back and chilled until our over night train to Switzerland came... We boarded the train, made it to our seats, and some how between Mary setting the ticket down and helping load luggage and Aaron settin his backpack where the ticket was, someone must have stolen it because we cleared that place and no ticket was found... Soo we are here in Napoli one more night until our train leaves for Milan in the am.... Wooo unexpected adventures!!!

Sorry for the lack of updates.. I tried to update when i first arrived in Naples, but we disn't realize the best internet was outside of our room lol.. I will start with Rome. Getting off the plane in Rome was just surreal. I could not fatham where I was at all.. I got my bag super quickly and thought the taxi driver was abducting me(we couldn't understand one another at all) so I prayed the whole way to the hostel lol. We got to the hole in the wall hostel and I was worried i wouldn't be able to get in, but then Mary popped out like an angel outta nowhere and let me in lol So much history and beauty in Rome and it was PERFECT for my ADD haha no but i loved every place we went to. The Vatican was really awesome, Sistine Chapel... Blew. my. mind. The city of Rome had soo much to see, but I think the Trevi Fountain was my favorite. Our first day into Naples was a bit chaotic and wet. Lol we were lost and cold and confused and had to drag our luggage in the rain and finaallyyy figured out where our appartment was. Ended up being a super chill spot on the roof of this random building.. Naples was the city pizza was created in, so of course we munched super hard on some Zaaa... Today was a PHENOMINAL DAY!!! We took a boat into Capri.. The boat was super choppy and I threw up hardcore.. But then when we landed i was good as soon as I put my feet in that water.. Capri was the nicest place I have ever seen. We took Venicular to what we thought was the top of the island, but then we saw you could take a chair lift alllll the way up.. Just wait til I post pictures.. Unreal. I cried the whole way down it was just a beautiful experience.. So blessed... Tomorrow we head out to Pompeii then take the all night train to Zurich.. Can't wait!! We'll also be adding another kid to our group!! Yaayy!! Photos and more updates o comee!! Thanks for checkin out my blog and keeping up with my crazzyy shananigans.. : ) stay posted...

Well, I woke up extremely tired today.. Days are just flying by it seems being 5 hours ahead of my normal time.. Spun Bella around and played with her until she went to nursery... It was cut short because she still has "a bug in her tum" so we cuddled and watched Toy Story 2. When Katie came home, she said she was going to do some late night shopping, so I went along and she influenced me and I purchased a few things... but everything was super cheap and awesome which is not what I'm use to.. I love walking around and hearing the accents and seeing people from all different walks of life.. I did, however, get yelled at by a man who was probably in his mid 50s bc my Oyster card didn't swipe and his did and I walked through and he YELLED. THAT WAS MY CARD IT'S MY TURN... like a little kid and rolled his eyes... hahah I just laughed and poor Katie apologized for his rudeness... YAAYY LONDON BLOKES.... ahah Tomorrow should be a fun day of site seeing though... for serious this time.. lol Gerard's friend John is in visiting from Brussels so the three of us are going to venture out to Centre London together!! I'm really trying to pick up the accent b/c everyone else seems thrown off when I speak ahah I can't wait for the next few weeks of traveling, and I am so grateful for this down time and the Hefferon's hospitality!! Tomorrow shall be a fun update and I need to post pics of my purchases from today!! Stayyy tuned folks.. CHEERIO!!!!

Flowers for Bella!!!

Well we were going to go explore the sites of London today, but Bella was not feeling too peppy. So we stayed home and played on the trampoline, swings, watched the SImpsons, KAt vs. Kid, spun her around, made her sammiches, and had bunches of fun. Kristin and I just booked our flights and hostel for AMSTERDAM June 9-11th!!! yaayy!! Jet lag set in for me today during the day around 3:00 pm our time. I quite enjoyed the hour long nap though.. I am getting pretty excited for Italy this Saturday, and to see Mary and meet her boyfriend Sam and one of his friends!! So far I have relaxed and played and can't wait to explore the city of London some time before the week is over!!! Until next time.. 11:11 make a wish!!! Goodnight-- : )

Today was lovely!! Woke up and gave Bella her little hair extention clip-ins from her Nana LiLi!!! She loved them!! Then Mr. Hefferon made everyone scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon. Yes Wendy I did eat Some bacon, and no I still don't like it.. Sorrryy lol but Bella doesn't like it either so I'm not the only one!! Then I helped Bella finish her eggs and listen to her cute little accent "touch my airrr" she kept sayin lol.. Then Gerard and I walked Bella to nursery and took the train and purchased my first Oyster card lol.. Then we dropped her off and walked about 4 miles through malls and hills and outta nowhere it started hailing like.crazy. Gerard treated me to my first Frappacino that was Nothing like the ones in the states... But still soo good!! Pictures to come... Now Bella will get out of nursery, Kristin will be home from work in a few hours and All is Well!!! And the day is young still!!!
